How It Works
Your journey to an organized home begins here! Here's how that process will look from the beginning.
1. Reach out!
​Contact me to get the conversation going.
2. Free in-home consultation
​We will meet to walk through the space(s), chat through the process, and schedule our sessions. This will take 30 minutes or less.
3. Decluttering
​During our sessions, I will work with you to make decluttering decisions confidently, helping you let go of items that are no longer serving a purpose in your home. We can also discuss strategies to mitigate the accumulation of future clutter in your space.
4. Organizing
​The next step is organization - bringing like items together into categories that make it easy to find what you're looking for. Say goodbye to stuff strewn about your home and hello to systems that make sense.
5. Storage
I will create personalized storage solutions for your items to maximize space in your home. We will start with any containers that you already own for the most sustainable and cost-effective approach. If additional storage containers are needed, I am happy to provide recommendations, and even go out to pick these up for you.
6. Enjoy your space and tell your friends!
This is the time where you get to step into your organized space and feel the peaceful energy it provides. And you'll get to show it off to your friends and tell them all about Your Space Simplified!
About Me
Hi! I'm Merrick, a professional home organizer ready to help you bring calm to your space.
My goal is to take the overwhelming task of decluttering and organizing off your plate. I love helping people create the space of their dreams that allows them to come home at the end of the day to a place where they can truly relax. I believe that your space affects your mood and state of mind, so I work hard to make your home a peaceful place.

I studied business administration at The Ohio State University (go Bucks!) and I have a background working in data analysis and accounting. Applying my detail-oriented nature and problem solving skills to my home organization business has been a natural fit, and I'm so grateful that I get to make a difference by working hands-on with people in their homes.

Outside of work, you can find me creating through hobbies like crafting and baking. I also love to travel and spend time with friends and family.
